Children are learning 21st century skills, such as keyboarding, at an earlier age than ever before. If efficient typing skills are introduced at the elementary level, they will be more successful with other skills as they progress through the technology curriculum. Often children learn to type with their pointer fingers instead of correct hand placement and memorization of key placement. This affects the student's speed and accuracy when typing reports or other keyboarding activities. These keyboard covers will help students overcome the need to "hunt and peck" during typing. They will be a great asset to our computer lab where students learn the importance proper typing skills.
