The Dash and Dot is an educational coding device that will help improve math and science skills! During our coding sessions, the students will apply their reading and math skills to design a series of tasks for the robot to complete. Using this technology will challenge the students to demonstrate their reading math, and science skills. The students will use their measurement skills, knowledge of angles, planning skills and turn taking to test hypothesis and evaluate their results. This is a great tool for my diverse learners because there is a strong action consequence component. The children will have immediate feedback on their planning and their manipulation of variables. This immediate feedback makes learning highly engaging and fun!
