I am requesting a color printer with ink and paper. I want to create games and learning tools that go beyond paper and pencil activities. Literacy stations are a great way for my students to become familiar with the written language along with math concepts. They will have the opportunity to have hands-on experiences with tangible manipulatives created to meet their academic needs. Giving low-income students access to technology to create colorful projects that will enhance academic success is an investment in their future. My students need to have many opportunities to use hands-on activities to promote their learning. By using hands-on activities, students will be exposed to many new skills that they haven't been introduced to before. Using hands-on activities, my students will feel successful and have fun while learning!
