Small group learning and student workshops are the design of student learning in the resource room. Many of my students benefit most from interactive learning and alternative educational programs. This would open up a tremendous resource of learning activities not currently available to my students. Visual math games, interactive spelling programs, and book shares are just a few examples. Additionally, the projector could assist in calming techniques for students with escalated behaviors or structured physical activity opportunities for students in need of body breaks especially on cold winter days when the weather keeps them inside. The projector will give my students the opportunity to create multimedia presentations related to their reading and writing and exposing them to public speaking opportunities.
