The iPod will hold a large library of music that can be transmitted via Bluetooth to the classroom stereo. We can practice listening as a whole class together. Then when students have practiced this skill, they can move to the independent listening station which comes with CD player or can be hooked to the ipod as well. Students is our school will gain practice in listening skills and describing music using a variety of language and grammar skills. Our students need more practice writing and this is a great way to incorporate that in the music classroom with both whole class activities and small group or independent work.
