The wobble disc is a cushion placed in student chairs. The purpose is to allow students with ADD or ADHD the opportunity to move around on the disc without causing a disruption to the people around them. Students with ADD or ADHS often have a difficult time staying in one place for a long period of time. They tend to fidget in their seats causing a disruption to the people sitting around them. They often are up and down getting in and out of their seat. Using the wobble disc, students can move while still staying in their seat and without getting up and walking around the room. It helps to add balance, coordination and flexibility. It also helps with muscle strengthening and joint stability.
