Students will get an opportunity to pick and choose different types of furniture to maximize their learning. The 2016-2017 school year I worked with first grade students who demonstrated the benefit of voice and choice in their learning and seating. Next year, I will be getting my very own classroom. I want to provide a space for my students to feel proud of their classroom and their learning. Alternative seating has been proven by research to benefit all students. My experience has with it in first grade has proven even more benefit for flexible seating. As a classroom teacher next year, help my students to feel the comfort and joy of flexible seating using wobble chairs and bean bags. WOO HOO, fourth graders likes choice!
