Using iPads in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to engage in meaningful lessons. They could be working on a lesson they missed, reinforcing math facts or creating a project based on an area of interest. All students can benefit from technology. It would be great to teach them how technology can be used for learning as well as for fun. The iPads will be used to teach across all areas of curriculum but it allows for greater creativity than traditional textbooks and pencils. Classrooms today are very different than they used to be. Second graders have great imaginations and are eager to learn new things!
