When asked to choose a word to focus on for the year, I chose "organization". I have trouble staying organized and I know it's something my students struggle with as well. Benjamin Franklin once said, "For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned." My class made the switch from desks to tables last year. My students love working together and the tables make it much easier for them to form collaborative groups. Since we no longer have desks to keep our supplies in, we're looking for seat sacks to help stay organized. These sacks will help us make transitions more quickly and will allow my students to learn in a clutter-free classroom. With your donation, I'll be able to spend a few minutes organizing and earn hours of instructional time to help my students learn how to change the world!
