I love teaching art to middle school learners. The joy and spark has kept me excited for over 25 years at Herbert Slater Middle School. The biggest challenge is keeping lessons and supplies on the cutting edge and current. Parents and Administration are super supportive here at Slater, but there is always need for technology and art supplies. My main goal is to create life long art learners, folks who care deeply about their own creativity. Thank you for making our art dreams come true. I am deeply grateful. We are over 63% socioeconomically disadvantaged. Many students would benefit from your support.
