The materials needed for this project will provide students with flexible options for seating. With such a diverse group of learners, sitting in a chair at a desk isn't the most conducive way to learn. But by giving students choices for seating, they take control of their own learning. And when students get to choose where and HOW they sit, it can increase their focus and lead to a more positive attitude in the classroom! The yoga balls can give students who need that movement a chance to still move while learning at the same time! The wobble seats will also provide students that movement outlet while engaging their minds. The stay and play balance balls will allow them to move while sitting with stability. The 5 piece TV tables will give students a choice of where they would like to sit which will best suit their learning need. If it's at the front with me or at the back for less distractions, it puts the learning in their own hands. The bean bags provide a more comfortable place to sit, for those students who need more of a pleasant atmosphere. So we gotta flex 'em all! My students will become masters of their own learning when given the options for flexible seating! So help us flex 'em all!
