These digital pens are discrete and are useful for teachers that are looking for ways to integrate learning supports for students with learning disabilities in the classroom. The digital pen scans the words on paper and allows the students to listen to the words privately through their ear phones. The listening-while-reading accommodation allows students to follow along grade level text while listening to text in order to improve comprehension. This tool improves the confidence and positive attitudes towards reading that our children need. These digital pens have been demonstrated to increase the comprehension of primary and secondary students with reading disabilities, especially dyslexia.
