The materials requested will help my students bring their designs to life. They have been learning about STEM through inquiry-based projects/challenges. The materials will allow them to build their designs, as well as give them the opportunity to critique, redesign, and improve their project. They will be able to experience the engineering design process of constructing/revising. Through this project, I hope my students will understand the ways in which science, technology, engineering, and math are related not only to each other, but to the world in which we live. Your generous donation will improve our science education by allowing students to apply, hands-on, what they are learning. The plastic spoons, rubberbands, and popsicle sticks will be used to construct catapults. The tooth picks and glue sticks will be used to create skyscrapers. Thank you in advance for your donation!
