My need additional technology resources in order to help us achieve our technology goals as well as implementing instruction in other areas of the curriculum. We have limited technology in our classroom and many of my students do not have access to current technology tools at home. Through the use of the iPad mini, my students will be able to strengthen skills in reading during literacy stations as the iPad will be used for practice with reading skills. They will be able to sharpen math skills in a fun and exciting way as we use the iPad in small group work and math stations. By using the iPad to build reading and math skills, they are also getting to use current technology to build technology skills as well. The iPad will greatly impact the wonderful first grade children in my classroom!
