I would like 8 Kindle Fires to more effectively help my ESOL students learn English. Most of my students have come from countries like Honduras and El Salvador in hopes of a better future. But they cannot attain a better future without a background in English. Having these Kindle Fires would allow my students to always have Google Translator at their finger tips and it would allow us to bring technology into each assignment. For many of these students, technology is a luxury their parents cannot afford. On average I have 15-16 students in each of my ESOL government classes. Purchasing 8 tablets would allow my students to not only use technology but work with another member of society and practice their English. All these skills will better prepare my students for life after high school. Thank you in advance!!
