My students currently display difficulties with being a part of whole group instruction, which is an essential skill in being successful in a general education learning environment. By providing them with flexible seating options they will better be able to sit and function successfully with the group. My students would also benefit from sensory and fine motor materials by having them available to use as self regulation and mindfulness strategies. Having these resources available to students in my classroom will support their learning as well as their social emotional well-being.

About my class
