Often my students come from backgrounds where times can be very stressful. I want to them to feel comfortable in my room so that they can learn in a safe environment. Many times my classroom is a safe haven for students who are struggling that day because of different situations outside of the classroom. I want the room to be cozy for them so that they can feel comfortable enough to share what is bothering them. The goal for is for my students is to be able to learn in a positive and safe environment.
