Tablets will help foster discovery in science. Students need to learn how to research their theories and how to begin finding solutions. Another way they will be used is by recording the results of an experiment. We use Achieve 3000 to increase reading levels in students. This is a program that I can assign science articles to students based on their individual reading levels. This exposes them to the curriculum but on their level. These tablets would allow students to rotate through these activities by utilizing stations in my classroom. Students need to be able to read to be successful.
