I teach kindergarten in a Title I school in rural South Carolina. Our small school does not have the funding to provide a lot of extra materials. My students are truly amazing! In our small community, everyone knows one another. Our school is so much more than just a school, we are a family. The students are excited about learning, and they are always excited when new learning materials come into our room! I hope to build a learning environment that is inviting, filled with books and numerous hands-on materials for engaging learning experiences. Kindergarten should be filled with exploration and learning through meaningful and engaging activities. It is my goal to help students fall in love with learning during their year in kindergarten.
