My students are working towards improving their speech, language, and communication skills. My project will provide us with the tools and resources to create fun and engaging therapy materials that will keep them motivated to continue to work hard on their communication skills. We work towards the speaking and listening content standards daily. Having the ability to scan and print colored worksheets right in the speech room would engage them in decision making on what they need to work on by being able to pick their targeted benchmarks to work on. They are a wonderful group of hard working kids and would be thrilled with new materials!
