Flexible seating changes lives. Flexible seating allows students to have a choice about their learning. They choose what works best for them and what will allow them to be the most successful. Most of the time students are told what to do, where to go and where to sit. This completely changes the whole aspect of schooling. The seating options give the students the most diversity in the classroom. They will have options to use at their own desk, to bounce on, wiggle on, and just use to get out the extra energy they have. I have visited other classrooms with flexible seating and the students are calmer and more focused. Fidget spinners became popular and the idea is the same, but seating does not take a hand away and keeps them both available!
