The leveled guided reading books will be used to help my students become successful in setting and achieving their reading level goals. Other material such as whisper phones will be used to help the student to focus on what they are reading and listen to their own voice as they practice reading the leveled guided reading books. My students love reading books. We used our library books daily for many reading comprehension skills as well as building reading fluency. A library in my classroom would definitely help build their reading fluency and comprehension. Having a classroom library encourages reading and it also motivates my students to continue to participate in the Accelerated Reading Program at school. The guided reading books, literacy materials, and classroom library books will assist my students in becoming successful readers. You can be a part of my students' reading success by helping us obtain the necessary reading materials.
