Working with such a diverse group of students, I am constantly looking for ways to engage and instruct them at their individual levels. I would use headphones to help my students access books and literacy activities online so that they can listen and follow along with the text. This helps the language learners to acquire English faster and it helps the learning disabled students to improve their reading skills while being exposed to the same material as their peers. For my students who excel at reading, having headphones would enable them to access higher level books and activities while I work with the students who need more individualized attention. I can just see the excitement on my kids' faces when they realize that each student will be able to have his/her own set of headphones to use in the classroom! We thank you for your generosity.
