This project will give provide my students with hands-on, kinesthetic learning. Many of my students experience difficulties with critical thinking concepts, fine motor development, attention and focus. My students will benefit from learning resources mental blox, block buddies and pattern blocks and boards to increase their critical thinking skills. Materials such as Goodie Games Counting Bears, abc cookie game, alphabet soup game, pop sight word game and splat card game, will allow my students who are not the typical paper pencil students an opportunity to engage in learning games that are exciting and fun. The snap and learn alphabet alligators will not only provide a fine motor activity for my students fingers but will also increase their alphabet knowledge and lay a foundation for reading development. Students with disabilities often require more concrete visual and kinesthetic materials to assist them in understanding difficult concepts. These materials are essential to the basic functioning of our classroom and will significantly improve my students learning and attention.
