These books will help students understand what growth mindset is through literacy. I have worked to instill in my students the power of "yet" and eliminating the word "can't" in all areas of their lives. They are often taught, and therefore led to believe, that they are not good enough to do anything. My goal is for all my students to do away with a fixed mindset and apply a growth mindset in all aspects of their lives. In my classroom, I am working to teach my students that they can rise above their situations and become anything they want to be if they work and believe they can.

About my class
