The materials will make a difference because we've noticed we have more success when students have some choice in their learning environment. We have chosen stools and wobbly chairs as alternatives to the regular classroom chairs. The stools are a nice alternative for those who like to sit on their knees. The wobbly chairs are for those wiggly learners. We've also selected lap desks which will allow students a comfy option when working on the floor. The lap desk allows for writing a well as putting a device on it. These alternatives will help increase student success as they will be comfortable and more focused.
