An area of struggle for my students is being able to stay still in the classroom while the teacher is instructing the class. Some of the students have a lot of wiggles that need to be worked out and do not know how to do this without distracting the entire class. These fidget tools will help them to get their wiggles out while staying an active learner in class and keep them from distracting the other students. Each teacher or student will be able to check these tools out from the counseling office so that they can stay an active learner in the classroom instead of being taken out of class due to their behaviors. The books chosen will be used to enhance the students' social skills through classroom guidance lessons. I will design these lessons based on the topics of the books. I will also allow the students and teachers to check these books out of the counseling office on an as needed basis to help enhance their classroom skills and learning.
