The iPads will be a life changer! My students are very inquisitive, with the use of a classroom iPad we can research various topics that otherwise are unavailable to our class. We use technology on a daily basis to teach new concepts as well as reinforce mastered skills. Our students learn through direct, individualized, and repeated instruction. We are able to use technology, music, interactive learning, and hands on activities in order to meet the needs of all of our students and their learning styles. The iPads will encourage essential strategies for success in problem solving, creative thinking, and teamwork. Many of the students in my classroom do not have access to technology at home, so by offering new and innovative ways to learn through programs on the iPads we are giving our students exactly what they deserve, the same exciting and engaging opportunities as their age appropriate peers and at the same time by helping the environment with no need of worksheets.
