Our students struggle with engaging in regular physical activity, positive interaction, self-esteem, absenteeism and academically. Many come from disadvantaged backgrounds and are exposed to few resources. My positive classroom environment provides a place of safety which enables my students to develop self-worth and confidence to become leaders. To enhance this experience, my students need access to much needed physical education materials and safe sports equipment. With this much needed material, the students in my large classes will be able to participate more fully in classes and be exposed to experiences they will not get from other areas of their lives.

About my class
