My students need a rug in order to participate in games and activities that focus on building speech and language skills through individual and group activities to enhance communication skills. My students will sit on the rug to receive speech therapy on their level. The purpose and use of activities done using the classroom rug will vary based on the needs of the students and the purpose of the activity. Students would participate in activities done using the classroom rug on a daily basis. Your generous donation to our project will improve my classroom by creating a comfortable, safe and positive learning environment. This will change my students' learning environment for the better. They will be able to feel that school is a safe place to grow, learn, and free to be themselves!
