My students are at various academic levels in both math and reading. By having a guided reading table I will be able to work more closely with the struggling students, teaching them more guided learning strategies in order to build their academic levels. Students are like snowflakes, each one learns differently, and it is my goal to make sure that I meet each child's needs. Small group instruction is a comfortable and nurturing environment for students, it allows for more individualized instruction, as well as building their confidence and make the children feel empowered to challenge themselves and to take pride in their accomplishments.
