Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle...four year olds have lots of learning to do and lots of WIGGLES to get out of their system before this learning can happen. I'm requesting a variety of Flex-Space seating including Wobble Cushions, Balance Ball Seats, Comfy Floor Seats, and Wobble Chairs. Giving students a safe and inviting place to get wiggles out can be challenging but with flexible seating options it allows students to make choices and to take charge of their individual learning styles. Flexible seating can also create a sense of ownership in students and this stimulates excitement during the daily learning process. YES, students can get excited about learning! My goal is for my students to have various seating choices, feel comfortable and manage their wiggles because I feel this is an essential component in igniting a passion for this learning journey that begins in PreK.
