High School English is an exciting year that allows students to grow in their learning. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and all come together to create our perfect classroom family. It is our hope that over time we can convert all our desks to tables to create a dedicated space for discussion. Creating a classroom community through collaboration encourages students to take control of their learning, and create lifelong learners. Students are able to use their strengths and find new opportunities to learn regardless of needs. When everyone has a seat at the table for learning, we all win!
