All of my students have physical limitations that interfere with their ability to keep up with their classmates and peers throughout the school day. During each physical therapy session, we work toward improving balance, coordination, motor planning, and strength. By improving these areas I am helping my students become as functional and independent as possible so that they are better able to play with their peers during recess and gym class. My students need new and exciting activities for therapy so that they remain engaged during their therapy sessions. They love to have new toys and games when they come to the therapy room. These new games and toys would allow for me to use a variety of activities to work on improving my student's overall gross motor abilities (and allow them to have an amazingly fun time during therapy).
