My students will be learning about body systems for this unit and the frogs will be used to give them a first-hand look at these systems. Students will be working in cooperative learning groups so that collaboration will take place. Students will be using investigative science skills to find the different organs of the frog based off of a diagram of the frog. This will give the students a real world exploratory learning environment that can be transferred into many different aspects of their lives. The donation of frogs and gloves will improve that quality of hands-on learning that will take place in my classroom.
