This year started out as any normal year. Classrooms were ready and stocked with things children would need to be successful. In one day all that changed. The water washed away not only most of my student's homes and personal belongings but also their classrooms. My hope is that these decorations will give them some joy as they return to school. Most of my students are living in unfamiliar homes and not so wonderful conditions. These decorations will serve as some form of normal for my students. We have a long way to go, but are not afraid of some hard work!
