This calculator software will allow me the opportunity to show students how to use at least one the technologies they are required to understand in order to become successful in secondary and post secondary education. Graphing calculators are capable of so much more than the calculators of old, but they are complicated to work. In Geometry, I will use this software to help students conceptualize transformations, dilations, and other geometric graphing principles. With my Statistics students, I will use this software to teach them how to sort and organize data, as well, as how to calculate information pertaining to that data using technology so they can focus on understanding what it all means. This software will become a vital tool in assisting and educating students in my classroom. When students can follow along and do the work at the same time, it is amazing what they can accomplish!
