Traditionally, students find their History courses boring. Many teachers focus on dates and notes and students lose interest very easily. It is my mission, to make sure students do not feel this way about History. Over the last two years, I have created a course that engages all learners. Many of my students require special education services and these lessons help engage those learners. With an iPad, students will be able to use specific programs to engage in STEAM lessons. For example, in our China unit students built the Great Wall of China using nontraditional supplies. With an iPad students would be able to better construct models and bring them to life. Students would be able to use the Boulevard App to explore different historical locations and museums around the globe as we discuss them in class.
