In today's world, technological literacy is just as important as reading, writing, and math. The jobs of the future consist of technology that does not even exist yet. Students are preparing for college and career any time they have the opportunity to use technology in their education. Our school places an emphasis on blended learning programs because they have shown tremendous benefits for students by allowing them to work at their individual ability levels. Kindle Fire Tablets in the classroom will allow my students to access this blended learning every day and reach their weekly goals. In addition to blended learning, we will use these tablets for research projects, multimedia projects, and to connect the concepts we are learning to the real world. Each child will have equitable access to the content we are learning with these devices. Technology has the opportunity to further education by making it engaging and relevant to our students' lives. My little inquisitive minds cannot wait to further their education and discover new things in our classroom. With technology, the possibilities are endless!
