I am looking to keep my students focused and give them a simple strategy that will help them to stay on task. These seats are a rubber material filled with beads and gel. The round bitty bottom seats and the wedges seats allow for slight movement. These can be used on their chairs and on the carpet. By using these special seats to assist children to move slightly, while in a sitting position, they will increase concentration, focus and even balance, and keep them focused while learning. The larger ball chairs also give support and a little bit more freedom of movement while sitting and working. Whole class participation makes a difference in the learning environment. All students can benefit from the use of these seats, not just those with learning disabilities. All the students will have something to sit on that actually assists in their learning to keep them focused and not be so fidgety.
