Many schools and programs have a focus on technology and online learning. Due to our financial resources, my students don't have the same access to technology. These kindles will give my students better access to much needed materials that will help them engage. Along with being engaged they will learn necessary collaboration, reading, writing, and competitive skills that will help them succeed in the future. My students will use these kindles to explore Spanish influence on tribal New Mexico, including a possible breakout experience for the Pueblo Revolt. The students get real experiences that reflect their own heritage and history.
