The resources that I am requesting are two iPads with sturdy covers. I feel that having these tools for students to use will give them technology that they are familiar with to help them improve their reading and math fundamentals. They will be reading books, listening to books, and reinforcing reading and math concepts through educational apps. If you've ever struggled in school, I'm sure you'd agree that having technology to assist your growth and development would have improved your reading skills. I want to iPads available for students who need more practice with their math facts. Or the student in my class who struggles with reading needs to listen to the book at the same time that they are reading the book. Another student needs to expand their vocabulary - there's a fun educational app for that and many other skills that students in my class need reinforcement on. Imagine how good my students will feel when they are able to be successful in the classroom because they practiced all of the different reading and math strands in a fun way on an iPad.
