The classroom environment plays a crucial role in student learning. One part of the environment is seating. My co-teacher and I work hard to develop relationships with our students and to build a community of learners. We try to make our classroom organized, and would now like to help the students be more comfortable and choose seating options that will help support optimal growth. The materials that I am requesting will be used to give students choice in their seating. Students come to our classrooms with a variety of sensory needs. These seating options will assist with sensory input making them more focused on the academic tasks at hand.
