My kindergarten classroom is going to be very comforting, inviting, and a relaxing place. I want my students to be able to choose a spot in the room where they can learn easily, and do their best work. Every student does not learn the same way. They should not all be sitting, working, doing the same thing, in the same way, all at the same time. Some students need more movement, some students need different types of chairs. My students should have choices, and I would love to give them choices and some independence. I would love to create a flexible seating arrangement in my classroom where students can be engaged and learn to read and move on to reading to learn. By donating to my classroom, you are donating to my students, helping them succeed, and giving them the opportunity to make choices that benefit themselves on a daily basis.
