These materials will allow students to have a hands-on approach to learning important math concepts. Math manipulatives allow students to see and touch materials that relate to the math concepts they are learning about. Students are able to move and manipulate these materials in ways that allow them to gain a deeper understanding of concepts like multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry. Students are able to really experience the math problems they are asked to do, which allows them to gain a deeper understanding. This is especially important for students who may have a harder time understanding grade level math concepts. These materials will help to make fourth grade math more accessible, engaging, and build a deep conceptual understanding for all students!
