I will use the two iPads to engage my students with interactive materials such as e-books and read-a-louds, practice letter formation and building words, develop math skills such as counting, tracing numbers, solving simple word problems, drawing and making our own stories. This year our school has also invested in a program called STEM Scopes which stands for (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). This program was designed to enhance a child's understanding of the following content areas at a developmentally appropriate level. I feel that opening an ipad center in which my students have an opportunity to engage in activities like this will promote their interest in STEM.
