I truly have the sweetest bunch of kids. In this day and age, technology is everywhere, but not in this neighborhood. We need an iPad, case and screen protector for our classroom to help extend their knowledge of the content and solidify their understanding of concepts! With the addition of an iPad to my classroom, you would be giving the students a direct connection with technology skills that they are so unfortunately unable to be blessed with. I extend the content of my teaching to social media, the students tweet as famous people and take pictures of their accomplishments. The iPad would also provide interactive activities to solidify the students knowledge of the content. It will also work to help service the Gifted students in my classroom to extend their knowledge and help challenge them. The iPad would also help with my English Language Learners in the classroom to help improve their vocabulary and enhance their speaking skills.
