My students need durable headphones with the capability to connect multiple headphones to one iPad or Chromebook. As students are researching and creating projects to share, they need to collaborate. These headphones will allow multiple students to listen to stories, watch video clips, and then create a final piece while using the same iPad. Providing these headphones will give EVERY student in my class access to technology at the same time! We are lucky to have some iPads and Chromebooks in our classroom. However, we have limited headphones and no access to a splitter. Headphones will allow for students to work without distractions and the built in splitter will allow for collaboration. These headphones have a built in splitter allowing multiple students to connect and hear the same iPad. Not only will this enhance our Science investigations but the opportunities are limitless. Students could listen to stories with partners and then discuss. They could create e books, movies, record themselves reading. The headphones would allow for technology to be used across all content areas, allowing for deeper understanding of the curriculum. I know without a doubt that my students will thrive if given more time with the technology we currently have in our classroom.
