I created this project in hopes of providing my students with the manipulatives and resources that they need. My school normally only has 5 third-grade teachers. However enrollment this year required a 6th. Yep, that's me! The sudden requirement of a 6th teacher and the decrease in school funding, my room was not supplied with manipulatives for student learning. I am very grateful for the kindness of my fellow teachers, however, they need their supplies just as much as I need them for my students. These manipulatives will be put to use during Math. The year has already begun and my students would greatly benefit from visual and kinaesthetic assistance during our lessons. I have also included books into the list. My classroom library was created from old books given to me by others, which I greatly appreciate. Many of which are chapter books, my students are all different and could benefit from having picture books as well as chapter books.
