This project will make a huge difference in my students' lives. One of the areas that my students struggle with is reading. The majority of the school is made up of ELL students. Having a variety of interesting chapter books and graphic novels in my classroom will help improve my students' fluency and their interest in reading. During independent reading time, students will have the opportunity to read amazing books that they can choose from. My students love to read graphic novels. These books have sparked reading interest in my dormant readers. My ELL students especially benefit from graphic novels. It has been amazing to see my students move from graphic novels to chapter books series such as Eerie Elementary and Dork Diaries.
